Hello, and welcome to Moving Human Diaries!

My aim with MHD is to give a "behind the scenes" - glimpse into my work. I believe that moving can be thinking, and this blog can hopefully show what the thought process behind making new movement can be in my particular case.

Many times in these videos you can see movement in its unfinished, unpolished form. You can see "mistakes". But also, if we are lucky, sometimes you can see a new idea at its freshest.

Like the videos (at least for the most part), I´d like this blog to be informal, so feel free to comment or write your own thoughts/ideas as well!

Episode 4

This time something a little different from the improvisations of the earlier videos. We´re rehearsing a piece of mine - "What do you see when you see this?" for a gig in Tampere, Finland. There´s footage from the actual performance of the piece from march 2008. The piece was seen 24.4.2009 in Hällä - stage in Tampere, Finland as part of the Tanssivirtaa - dance festival.
